2001 Baseball Cards

2001 Topps Baseball Factory Sealed Complete Set 790 Cards Plus 5 Archives Cards Includes Ichiro Rookie

The 2001 Topps factory set: 790 cards plus 5 bonus Archives cards, with the Ichiro rookie inside — the flagship card of the most anticipated Japanese position player ever to cross the Pacific, from the season he won MVP and Rookie of the Year at once. 2001 was also Topps' 50th-anniversary year, which shows in the set's scale and the Archives bonus. A sealed 2001 factory set is therefore two collectibles at once: an anniversary-year complete set, and a guaranteed Ichiro RC without touching the singles market. Few factory years carry a card that big.
